We hope you enjoy our website. Our goal is to provide you with things going on around our great town of Wenonah. Although this website is brought to you by the Wenonah Republican Party, we truly want to bring to you thoughts, ideas, some opinions, facts, some fun stuff and some very serious issues that everyone is talking about here in our town. This website is an accumulation of many discussions and works from all of our committee persons. Please, do not hesitate to email us and share your thoughts, hopes and ideas with us. We have received so many emails that support all that we are trying to do and a few emails that have been very thought provoking. All in all, we are truly trying to communicate various topics regardless of political affiliation. So, enjoy our site, it changes often and we hope you have a great spring!

Dear Neighbor, Friend and Wenonah Resident,

            We, The Wenonah Republican Committee, are seeking support from residents that are interested in becoming involved in the future direction of our community.  We all want to be informed about current events, issues and activities that happen here in Wenonah.  Our greatest wish is that you would one day want to actively participate in leading our town into the future, get involved in the decisions that define our future, and help to ensure that Wenonah remains the wonderful community we treasure.  Do the following issues about your community strike a cord of interest with you?

• Are you concerned about a regularly scheduled passenger train passing through Wenonah?

• Do high county taxes and their effects on our community concern you?

• Is the Maple Ridge Project – Light Recreation and Conservation Area – an issue that you’d like to learn about?

• Are you concerned about the public safety and welfare of the people of Wenonah?

• Is water conservation a topic high on your list of future issues?

• Do you wonder if your Borough Council is making the right decisions concerning our public streets, properties and playgrounds?

• Are you concerned about the State merging Wenonah with another community? Losing our autonomy and identity? Financial impact?

            Your involvement would be a small impact of your time, by attending a committee meeting (once a month) or a borough council meeting to show your support to our council members.  Your future participation is vital to ensuring that Wenonah continues to be the great town that it is today.

            The Wenonah Republican Committee is actively seeking new membership.  We are looking to engage eager and energetic people from the community to help us in our candidate selection process. 

            Wenonah’s foundation was not built with party politics, but rather with the efforts of many great people that wanted nothing more than to see our town flourish. Those same people had a vision of family community that needs to be continued into the future.  The Wenonah Republican Committee is asking you to get involved.  Please let us know if you are interested in becoming a member of the Wenonah Republicans, added to our informational email list, included in our social activity’s mailings or would just like to help with a small donation.  See our website to “sign up”!!
